ABC3 wanted to create a prototype of creative media challenges for their online community, and explore the types of user generated content that kids would happily participate in and successfully contribute towards. A set of challenges ranging from stand up comedy to music videos and involving diverse skills such as creative writing and graphic design was developed. This included leveraging existing ABC media initiatives while others were produced from scratch. The design work involved creating a series of reusable templates for all challenges, enabling the content to grow, be moderated, and have a consistent user experience within these diverse modes across different timelines.
